Victoria Beckham
made sure to show off her left hand on Friday as she stepped out in New
York, after the whereabouts of the body part was questioned by The
Daily Mail.
The
41-year-old designer - who is preparing for her forthcoming NYFW show
on Sunday - looked as effortless as ever as she emerged from her hotel
for another day of work.
But,
rather than her attire being the focal point, it was her very clear
message that caught the eye as she pointedly held her left hand up to
her face.

Rocking
one of her signature oversized jumpers for the day, her fingers were
seen peeping out of the long sleeve of the slate grey knit.
She
has recently been wearing large items of knitwear on a daily basis,
causing speculation over the bizarre absence of her left hand.
The
slender star's trim physique was almost overwhelmed by the chunky
jumper - complete with a high neckline - but it was just the right cut
to not completely swamp her.

We get it! The fashion designer didn't let her left arm fall from the side of her face
Boot up for spring like Victoria Beckham
It's official. Fashion Finder wants every
single piece of Victoria Beckham's wardrobe. And best of all she's
pretty much designed everything she wears which is probably why
everything fits her so perfectly! But she also knows a great deal about
putting a look together.
Take the culotte, sported so effortlessly here. This particular item of clothing is notoriously difficult to wear but take a tip from the first lady of fashion and you too can pull them off (or on) with aplomb.
Wear a flat shoe and all but the most willowly will look stumpy but wear a heel and you just feel a bit out of proportion. The answer is a wedged boot - just make sure that it ends above the hem of your pants.
VB's are long gone but check out out alternatives and you too will be able to rock a culotte with the best of 'em.

Voluminous: The slender star's trim physique was almost overwhelmed by the chunky jumper - complete with a high neckline - but it was just the right cut to not completely swamp her
She
teamed the warm top with a pair of billowing Aladdin-style culottes, cut
to just above her ankles to show off her fashion-forward structured
black boots.
As
ever, her brunette tresses couldn't have looked more preened to
perfection, slicked back into a high ponytail with a lift at the crown,
and she covered her face with a pair of large shades.
Victoria's
very visible statement came after the Mail wrote that she has barely
let her left hand see the light of day in recent weeks as she continues
to style herself in voluminous attire.
Simple but
stunning: Victoria teamed her chunky knit with a pair of billowing black
Aladdin-style culottes, showing off her structured boots
Hard at work: It was another day of heading to the office for Victoria ahead of her NYFW show on Sunday
The
current trend is for items of clothing 'three sizes too big' and with
sleeves pulled over the ends of the wrists to hide fingers away from the
cold in a coquettish manner.
And
it's something that didn't go unnoticed: most of her looks in recent
months have seen her hiding her hand - and only the left one - when
stepping out in public.
She
has either obscured it from view with a long sleeve, or hidden it
completely underneath a blazer, but it appears that the time is nigh for
its re-introduction to the spotlight.
Covered: Emerging from her hotel on Thursday to prepare for New York Fashion Week, Posh’s hand was covered by the sleeve of a jumper that could double as a one-man tent
How many balls of wool went into this jumper? The chunky navy knit is from her new collection and completely covered her hand
Victoria has been stepping out all week in New York, as she prepares for her next fashion show, which takes place on Sunday.
According to Look magazine, Victoria is working around the clock to perfect her new collection.
'Victoria
is under so much pressure running her fashion empire. The amount of
work she puts in is astronomical,' a source told the magazine.
'Victoria's
work schedule is absolutely insane. She regularly gets up at 4am,
taking calls from Los Angeles, and scrapes by on just four hours'
sleep,' the source added.
No need for hands: Arriving at JFK airport last year, she wore a £1,200 check coat with super-long sleeves,
Keeping
covered: Barely a moment has passed lately that Victoria HASN'T had her
arms obscured by her fashion-forward extended sleeves
