VACANCY - IMED PRINCIPAL
The
Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) is a
growing training, consulting and research organization, accredited by
the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and the Association
of Business Executives (ABE-UK). Our curriculum is designed to produce
performance driven individuals and we aim to be a role model of quality
education. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Principal to
manage our tertiary education program. Duty station is initially Dar es
Salaam, but the main campus will relocate to Bagamoyo towards end of
2013.
Duties and Responsibilities
The
Principal has overall responsibility for strategic management and
leadership of the tertiary education program of the Institute. Reporting
to IMED CEO, the Principal's duties include:

Qualifications:
- A Postgraduate qualification preferably in education, business administration, entrepreneurship or related fields
- A self directed learner
- At least 3 years experience in a managerial position in education sector ( especially training institutions)
- High level of drive, innovation, commitment and discipline. Should be a role model for the kind of graduates we aim to produce
- Age: at least 35 years. Nationality: East African
- A background in education/competence-based education and training will be an added advantage
