Lil Wayne To Be Released In November

Lil Wayne
Rap superstar Lil Wayne is expected to walk free from jail in November after serving just eight months of his year-long sentence.
The Lollipop hit-maker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., has been serving time at New York's tough Rikers Island prison since March, after pleading guilty to charges of gun possession. He has been keeping fans updated on his progress behind bars via a specially-dedicated website, but he will soon get to reconnect with his devotees in person - MTV News reports Wayne's projected release date is November 4th.
The hip-hop star will be a free man after eight months of incarceration, providing he continues to abide by jail rules and regulations. Wayne previously found himself in trouble with prison officials when guards reportedly discovered "contraband" in his cell, including iPod earphones and a charger for an MP3 player.
However, Wayne is refusing to let his legal problems silence his music - he will release a new EP when he turns 28 on September 28th.

Sean Kingston Accused Of Sexual Assault
Singer Sean Kingston has fallen victim to two overzealous fans after the women accused the star of sexual assault.
The Beautiful Girls hit-maker is alleged to have been involved in an incident at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Seattle, Washington on Sunday night, when he attended a party in a hotel room. The two women, aged 19 and 20, reportedly turned up to the room intoxicated and one of the females claims she later had sex with Kingston. The star left the bash shortly afterwards and went to another suite on the same floor.

The website reports the women followed Kingston into the second room and slept with other men in the suite. Emergency services were later called to the room, where the two accusers were taken to the hospital so doctors could conduct rape tests on them. The results have yet to be released.
Police investigating their claims initially sought to question Kingston about the supposed incident but the women's accounts of the alleged attacks have been cast in doubt and cops no longer wish to interview the singer, according to TMZ.com.
A manager for the Seattle hotel has confirmed "an incident" took place on Sunday night but has refused to comment further on the allegations. Representatives for Kingston had yet to respond to requests for a comment as WENN went to press.
