The patriarch resigned from his sales job in 1995 to take care of the star's singing aspirations, helping to launch her career with hit girl-group Destiny's Child.
Knowles also managed his daughter's bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, but Rowland ditched him as her manager in 2009, and Williams followed suit a year later.
Now, the Crazy In Love hit-maker has also decided to end her business arrangement with her dad - but she maintains their personal relationship is still intact.
In a statement, the singer's spokesperson, Yvette Noel-Schure, reveals Beyonce has parted from her father "on a business level," while Beyonce adds that "he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly."
