Bafana Bafana are set to go into the World Cup inspired by 'Madiba Magic' after they met former President Nelson Mandela at his home in Johannesburg yesterday.
According to statement from the Nelson Mandela Foundation website, Mandela, clad in Bafana Bafana jersey No 4, arrived to cheers from the team, family members and Foundation staff, who all sang, "Nelson Mandela, there is no one like you".
The Bafana players, along with coach Carlos Alberto Parreira and his technical team, were introduced to Mandela by captain Aaron Mokoena.
The team shared a moment of laughter with Madiba when they were told by Bafana defender Matthew Booth that Madiba was "the tallest man in the building".
