KUTOKA UDOSINI: 17-year-old fails, commits suicide

A 17-year-old boy committed suicide upon learning he had failed his Class XII Board exams. Ankur Kumar, a resident of Hastsal in West Delhi, hanged himself after returned home from a nearby cyber-café where he had gone to check his result. Police said he was found hanging by his father, a Delhi Police constable. Police said he told his father he had not done well and went to his first-floor room and locked the door. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, police said. The body was sent for postmortem at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and later handed over to the family.
